LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE
Leadership
Strategic Advisory Boards
BVIUK's Strategic Advisory Boards are non-executive groups that support the executive leadership in developing policies and shaping the organisation's direction. The SA Boards consist of top global leaders from the business valuation profession and play a crucial role in formulating policies and standards that guide our organisation's practices. Together, the Boards help to shape the Institute's agenda, advise on the quality and progress of its activities, and assure that BVIUK remains true to its mission.
Education Board (EB)
The primary objective of BVIUK's Education Board is to ensure that BVIUK remains at the forefront of thought leadership in business valuation. The EB plays a proactive role in shaping the organisation’s educational agenda, working collaboratively with BVIUK’s Executive Management (EM), its Members, and a diverse range of stakeholders within the valuation community.
Standards and Ethics Oversight Board (SEOB)
The SEOB’s key responsibilities include developing and implementing robust policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with BVIUK’s ethical and professional standards. It also focuses on promoting awareness and understanding of these standards among members, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to uphold the principles of the organisation.
Future Directions in Business Valuation Board (FDiBVB)
Serving as a hub for forward-thinking ideas, the FDiBV Board aims to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapidly evolving landscape of business valuation. Its primary focus is to deliver expert insights and develop guidelines on emerging issues, ensuring BVIUK Members and the global valuation community are equipped to navigate these complex and dynamic areas.
